Installation and Usage

How to confirm the adapter is functioning properly

Once the adapter is plugged into the vehicle's USB port, it will automatically power on. You should see the indicator light on the adapter illuminate, signaling that it is receiving power.
At this point, your phone should be able to detect the adapter via Bluetooth. Successful pairing indicates that the adapter is operating correctly and ready for wireless CarPlay connection.

What is the Wi-Fi password for the adapter?

A Wi-Fi password is not required. Once your phone is paired with the adapter via Bluetooth, it will automatically establish a Wi-Fi connection for data transmission.
Please ensure that your phone’s Wi-Fi is turned on and not currently connected to another network, as this may interfere with the adapter’s connection.

Can the adapter be paired with more than one phone?

The adapter can be paired with multiple phones, but it can only connect to one device at a time. To pair with a new phone, you must first disconnect the current connection.

How can I know if my car model supports the wireless CarPlay adapter?

This Apple Wireless CarPlay adapter is compatible with iPhone 6+ / iOS 10+ and 2016+ OEM cars. You can check the supported car models on Apple's website: https://www.apple.com/ios/carplay/available-models/

How can I send voice assistant commands to the wireless adapter?

To send voice commands to the wireless adapter, please follow these steps:

1. Keep your phone nearby, as voice input is captured through its microphone.

2. Ensure that the Voice Assistant feature is enabled on your phone. Go to Settings, search for Voice Assistant, and make sure it is turned on.

3. Activate the Voice Assistant by calling the wake-up command and setting up your voiceprint if prompted.

Once these steps are completed, you should be able to issue commands effectively.

Audio Input/Output malfunction

Issues such as call rejection, redirection to voicemail, absence of audio playback, or a non-responsive microphone are often caused by conflicting Bluetooth connections.

Please ensure that your smartphone is not simultaneously connected to multiple Bluetooth devices, as this can interfere with the audio routing protocols.

To resolve this, manually disconnect or unpair any other active Bluetooth devices, and verify that your phone maintains a stable connection with the intended audio accessory.

Connection Drop / Wi-Fi interference

Once connected, your phone’s Wi-Fi is exclusively used by the wireless CarPlay protocol. Any disconnection issues are most commonly caused by Wi-Fi signal interference from nearby networks.
To ensure a stable connection, it is recommended to forget or disconnect from other known Wi-Fi networks on your phone while using the adapter. This will help prevent automatic switching or interruptions that may disrupt the CarPlay session.

Is video playback supported?

Video applications are not officially supported due to security reasons.
